Making the brass cups I started wondering how some lids would look. Grabbed some more brass and shoved it over using a backstick method to support my passes allowing me to move the metal without wrinkling. It does get a little hot on the way down. Some bead rolling action set up on the big spin lathe. I've done thousands of beads back in the day with this set up. These are a little bigger and much more sensitive being so soft after the 3rd annealing. Back on the tooling to smooth out any marks left behind. Then, off to @jknoxdesigns this week. Check them out. All the pieces, tags, charms, etc, that hang from the bells and ornaments are all fabricated up with the scraps. Hammer, heat, grind, patina, etch....endless possibilities but they all have to start somewhere.
